Most of our work consists of 5-15 minute corporate videos for businesses and organisations. These programs are used to promote awareness, products, branding and training, for presentation in conferences, exhibitions, staff meetings, AGMs, sales pitches, classrooms, websites and personal DVD/CDRom. Remember, corporate videos don't have to be boring! We can help you decide the best format to get your point across - whether you use a voice-over, presenter, interviews, documentary footage, dramatic re-enactments ... even comedy.
Although Mintox Media specialises in long-form corporate videos, we also produce commercials (as short as 10 seconds) and snappy clips for the web which get your point across quick smart. These are always highly creative and a lot of fun.
We also film events such as concerts and seminars which can be attractively packaged for audiences and absentees to buy after the event.
And every year or so, we pump out a short film or not-so-short documentary. See BUY/WATCH
Absolutely. We've worked successfully with mining companies, utilities and government departments to promote their products and policies. Some of the videos can get a little technical, but we still believe the "brand personality" behind your business should be clearly conveyed in any video presentation.
Some clients come to us with a fully-approved script, others with a set of dot points. We can work with both of these and anything in-between! Most people arrive with a good first-draft outline of what content needs to be covered in their videos. After all, they understand their market and what they're trying to say. After consulting with the client about their core message and values, we then modify the outline to make it suitable for the video medium. Script-writing depends on the format of your video, too - for example, if you're relying on lots of interviews to tell the story of your organisation on-screen, it's best to stick to dot points and let the people on-camera speak passionately in their own words.
Every job is different. We're happy to negotitate the best payment scheme to suit your organisation and the specific project. This may be an hourly rate, upfront payment, payment by stages or payment upon completion.
We prefer to shoot the best possible master footage for your video, in case you decide to incorporate the footage into future productions. But we are also happy to show the you the best ways to minimise cost so you get the best value for money on your specific project. Sometimes good ol' standard definition is the best choice!
For corporate productions: you pay us, you keep the copyright! No point getting complicated about these issues. We only ask that the video is used only for its original intent and that we can use the video to promote Mintox Media. For more creative ventures, there may be a royalties contract required.
We have a full archive of all our previous productions on tape, hard drive and DVD. If you need a copy of an old video, contact us and let us know what format you require it on. Too easy! There may be a duplication cost involved, depending on the terms of the original production contract.
Sure thing, we'd love to hear how we could collaborate on your next project. But we expect you to pay on time, just like any other client.
We do hire out our equipment if we're not using it. If you break it, you bought it - no questions asked. Contact us for specific rates. (Note: we do not hire out our edit suites.)
To be honest, we don't often have a need to hire someone that we don't already have a great working relationship with. However, it's always worth a try, because you never know what opportunities may be just around the corner. If you have a showreel, that's a big plus. We're always happy to give advice too, so if you want to pick our brains for two minutes about what direction you should take, just email.
I'm always happy to give presentations to classes. I love seeing younger generations get inspired to make a difference through film, and answering their tough questions. It's best if the students have seen some of my work beforehand so they have prepared questions. The fee depends on a number of factors - best to contact me to discuss your individual case so I can give you a fair price.
